FIRST COMMENT!!! Oh yeah! I’m back in my groove!
If you think about it a bit and realize some things about pon farr, you will realize that Spock was did quite a bit more than hold hands with Saavik on Genisis. Also, when Dan was talking about Nimoy not liking being typecast, it reminded me of the alien character on Galaxy Quest, also complaining about being a “Shakespearean actor”.
As for Kirstie Vs Robin as Saavik, Kirstie was hotter, but I think Robin made a more convincing Vulcan. Kristie just looks too…emotional.
[...] My first, long-anticipated appearance on a full-length episode of Love Long and Prosper took place in Episode #61. We had been planning my guest stint around the episode focusing on Star Trek III; this was actually recorded over Skype, and kind of at the last minute, which is always when I find the best work occurs. There was a great energy and we had a blast, anxious for the forthcoming Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas.
